Thank you for reporting this issue! I have been able to confirm the issue on: Version 3.6.5.2 Platform: Bodhi Linux 2.2 x64 + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + As I've been able to confirm this problem on an earlier release I am changing the version number as version is the earliest version that we can confirm the bug, we use comments to say that the bug exists in newer versions as well. Marking as: New (confirmed) Normal - prevents high quality work Medium - default, seems appropriate, you can always use a wacky workaround by manually testing out different sizes (I know not the best solution but it's a workaround) + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + LibreOffice is powered by a team of volunteers, every bug is confirmed (triaged) by human beings who mostly give their time for free. For me not reproducible with LO 4.4.1.2, Win 8.1. Can anybody still reproduce this issue or was this already resolved in the meantime? Steps Done: 1. Open the attachment 2. Click on the main text frame (the blue marked border of the main text is no visible) 3. Go to FORMAT -> TEXT -> tab TEXT 4. Deselect "Fit to frame" and press OK Interim Result: The font size of the text is now increased and the text is now larger than the text frame. 5. Enlarge the text frame (for instance increase the frame at the bottom) 6. Go to FORMAT -> TEXT -> tab TEXT 7. Select "Fit to frame" and press OK Result: The font size of the text is decreased that it now fits into the frame as expected.

For me, same conclusion as you. So closing as WorksForMe. Please, feel free to reopen if you disagree. Best regards. JBF
