Description Thomas Pfeiffer 2013-06-19 21:36:17 UTC
If the output connected to the HDMI port is enabled (set to a crtc) and it is unplugged, the event to announce that the output is no longer connected won't be emitted until XRRGetResourceScreen is called (you can execute the command xrandr to trigger it).

Please attach your xorg log and dmesg output. What radeon chip are you using?
Comment 2 Thomas Pfeiffer 2013-06-30 14:26:02 UTC
Sorry for the delay.
I am using a RS690 (Radeon X1200 series) chip.
Which parts of the log/output do you need?
Plugging or unplugging the HDMI cable does not produce any new lines on either one of them.
