I imagine the problem is that the list of the combobox can neither fit entirely above or below, so it ends up on the side. Triggered by the value of "ListBoxMaximumLineCount" in officecfg/registry/schema/org/openoffice/Office/Common.xcs where I guess the easiest fix is to set that number back to something smaller closer to the original pre 4.1 line count. 12 or 16 perhaps ?

still no repro under Win8.1 x64 using LibO 5.2.4.2 confirmations about this issue only came from Mac and Linux users. I wonder if they still can confirm it with latest LibO releases.
Tested with Version: 5.0.2.2 Build ID: 00m0(Build:2) Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8) in Debian Linux (jessie) not reproducible.
