Created attachment 86658 [details] odt sample file I'm helping a (potential) new localizer with this issue, neither of us have much experience in filing non-l10n bugs so apologies if we miss out something. Larry's problem description follows: Attached are two Writer files. They are the same document, saved by AOO 4.0 in .RTF and again in .ODT for reference. In OO Writer both versions look identical on screen. If I open the .RTF version (or any other .RTF document) in LO (version 4.1.1.2), the color defined in paragraph styles is lost; if I re-save the document from LO in either .RTF or .ODT the color is lost in BOTH files. Note: Any EMBEDDED font color, applied to selected text, is preserved. The primary text of the document is in the Puinave language of Colombia and Venezuela, the one I am trying to get recognized as a distinct language or locale for spell-checking purposes. Comment from me: I get the same formatting discrepancy using 4.1.1.1 on Windows 7.
