The mplayer output xv (which is supposed to use the Xv extension) does not work when the system with a running X server is suspended and resumed using Linux software suspend. Only blue square is displayed instead of the video surface. I did not try suspending running mplayer, only start mplayer after resume. Before the system is suspended Xv works fine. Tried with a mga G400 card.
with xorg 6.9 and 7.0 on mga g450 it still does not work. however, starting another X server makes xv work on the original (suspended) X server as well.
Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
