It happens with all VDPAU deinterlacer and yadif=1 in mplayer.
video_out CPU usage is around 70%.

Tested with a NTSC DVD with a HDTV of optimal at 1360x768@60
I believe it's actually a telecined source. I don't have many interlaced source on hand but I remembered once play a general interlaced source it's the same case.
