Presentation that demonstrates the issue

Problem description:
Having ascertained that the formatting was looking good, after I saved a presentation to pptx format, the lines do not seem to wrap up and the font and size are not being retained within the presentations.

I have not tested other formats, however, I am feeling angry.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a presentation and spend 30 minutes formatting it
2. Save the file to pptx
3. Review the format and ask yourself if this is a good presentation.

Current behavior:
The formatting is not presentable.

Expected behavior:
The formatting should align nicely and the user should be able to save a font and font size throughout a presentation.

It is noted that it is impossible to draw flowcharts within the presentation using symbols such as those found in Microsoft Visio 2007 onwards, because I am not seeing any options to draw graphics or flowchart symbols for example.

The file is being attached solely for troubleshooting purposes and cannot be use for any other purpose.

hi, it would be better to attach the source .odo file so we can reproduce the change of formatting after .odp -> .pptx conversion.

a minimal test case (just a couple of slides) where you consistently reproduce the issue would be better.

Thanks for your bug report.

It is reproducible with LO 4.2.0.4 (Win 8.1).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new presentation with IMPRESS
2. Write in the main text box two text lines (e.g. one with font size Arial 20 and one with Liberation Sans 32)
3. Save the file as an odp file
4. Save it in addition as a pptx file
5. Close both files and reopen them with IMPRESS

Results:
The comparison shows that both files show different font sizes. In the pptx all the font size is reduced.
I think that IMPRESS is with that bug not usable for pptx files (changed importance to critical).

But because this issue has already been reported, I marked it is a duplicate.

@Jonathan Camilleri

after watching your test file and looking similar issues on Bugzilla I think you stumbled upon 2 different problems about .PPTX export

1- font size change --> Bug 73267 (fixed in master)

2- text doesn't fit into text boxes --> Bug 71961 (still not fixed)
