Description patrick rutka 2004-07-04 09:38:32 UTC
My config :
Pc : linux (2.6.4 to 2.6.7)
Distribution : Linux Mandrake 10 with cooker packages
Graphics cards : (geforce 2 mx with NV or Nvidia), S3 trio 64 with S3 driver,
Sisxxx with vesa
Display layout : tri-head
X server : Xorg6.7 and Xfree4.3

My S3 trio with accel on with S3 drier have visual corruption on moving
windows. With no acceleration there no problem

could you try the various XAA options to disable individual parts of XAA to find
which one is causing the problem?

these options are documented in the xorg.conf man page, and start with the
string "XaaNo..." (eg, Option "XaaNoPixmapCache"). specify these options in the
Screen section of your xorg.conf.
Comment 2 patrick rutka 2004-07-04 13:31:45 UTC
And the winner is : Option "XaaNoScreenToScreenCopy"
Comment 3 Adam Jackson 2004-07-04 16:29:20 UTC
updating summary. i don't have an S3 card to test, hopefully i can hunt down
someone who does.

I´m closing down this sucker due to inactivity and that ajax has too much on his
hands.
Comment 5 Adam Jackson 2008-02-24 18:22:04 UTC
Mass reopen. The "LATER" resolution is lame, I'm deleting it. Consider LATER to have arrived.
Comment 6 Evgeny Zubok 2009-05-04 05:37:51 UTC
Is this bug actual for you? Can you confirm that the problem exists with the later versions of S3 driver?
Comment 7 Jeremy Huddleston Sequoia 2011-09-25 16:05:11 UTC
Closing due to lack of response.
