Description jody.frankowski 2016-05-17 06:52:04 UTC
Hi,

I have noticed some errors with hardware decoding after unsuspending.
Here are some from dmesg:

[ +0.016550] [drm:amdgpu_uvd_cs_pass2 [amdgpu]] *ERROR* Invalid UVD handle 0xf0c00001!
[ +0.033169] [drm:amdgpu_uvd_cs_pass2 [amdgpu]] *ERROR* Invalid UVD handle 0xf0c00001!
[ +0.016635] [drm:amdgpu_uvd_cs_pass2 [amdgpu]] *ERROR* Invalid UVD handle 0xf0c00001!

Also hardware decoding doesn't seem to work anymore (at least with vlc).

I have seen screen corruption on both Tonga and Fiji after resuming from suspend, will check if I can reproduce this.

The issue I get is a different one, possibly bug 92836.
