After launching XQuartz and opening initial xterm windows, a day or two passed, when trying opening new terminals they do not open, neither from the "Applications" menu nor by running xterm from one of the opened terminals.
Only solution found so far is to shutdown & restart XQuartz and re-open terminals.

Hardware: Intel-iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010)
OS: X El Capitan 10.11.5

What is reported when you try to run 'xterm' from Termainal.app?
Anything in ~/Library/Logs/X11/*?
Anything in syslog?

Please take a sysdiagnose when in this state (with you attempting to launch xterm from Terminal), and attach the sysdiagnose or send it to me through some other means.
