Description Emil Velikov 2017-02-28 01:09:48 UTC
I would like to request access to the xorg group, so that I can push patches directly.

My account [evelikov] already has access to libdrm/mesa/piglit.
Comment 1 Peter Hutterer 2017-02-28 01:11:05 UTC
ack from me
Comment 2 Martin Peres 2017-02-28 23:10:56 UTC
OK, I added you. However, be aware that X has a very different model than mesa and we are not allowed to push there ourselves.

For the records, what projects would you like to push to?
Comment 3 Peter Hutterer 2017-02-28 23:33:29 UTC
fwiw, that's not quite true anymore. The server is the only project were we ever had truly restricted access, anything else was "push after review" or "just tell the maintainer".

For the current patchset it's util/modular, but any work from that will affect every repository (due to autogen.sh changes) so commit access is vital.
Comment 4 Emil Velikov 2017-03-01 13:05:21 UTC
What Peter said. Plus I won't mind going through the deprecated/unmaintained repos and adding the AC_MSG_ERROR in configure.ac like some already do.

Barring reasonable amount of note and prodding of interested parties of course ;-)
