Although Radeon X1250 IGP seems to be a R600 chipset because his codename RS690, it's based in X700 Radeon R400 PCIe series. Is there any chance it could be included in the radeon driver?
The 3D engine may be r400 based, but the display engine (crtcs, output controls, plls, etc.) is avivo based (like r5xx and above) so it cannot be supported by the current radeon ddx.
:-( Thank you...
should be supportable in the radeonhd driver.
There is now some limited support for RS690. DAC (analog) output should work and also direct (lvds) panels should (if the system is booted with them active). We don't have hardware to verify the other outputs (yet). For DDC some registers have shifted compared to r6xx (it's using the same i2c engine as r6xx). This may also be the case for some outputs.
Assigning to me.

Please try a recent version of our driver. DVI/HDMI support will have to be postponed until this hardware is available to us for testing and development.
Current driver seems to work great with VGA connected monitor on ASUS M2A-VM HDMI motherboard.
