Description Simon McVittie 2007-08-02 11:18:35 UTC
Someone needs to check whether dbus-daemon echoes broadcast messages and make sure Gabble and Salut D-tubes have the same behaviour. For bonus points, prepare a patch against the D-Bus spec to clarify this, and reassign to Havoc.

I've confirmed with a quick hack of a Python script that dbus-daemon *does* echo our own broadcasts. MUCs don't echo broadcasts, so we should do that internally (incorporated in the -gabble-tubes code review). Also, in Salut we should stop suppressing echoes (fd.o #11929).

Fixed in -tubes branch.
