Description Josselin Mouette 2007-08-08 12:39:47 UTC
I have tried to start Xorg 7.2 (from Debian unstable) on my Radeon 7500 QW without a xorg.conf file, and it fails to display anything because of a wrong display detection. The screen is 1280x1024 and the driver selects a 1920x1200 resolution instead.

Blaming the radeon driver, but this is almost certainly at least failing differently in ati 6.8.0.
Comment 3 Alex Deucher 2008-12-03 00:05:06 UTC
is this still an issue with a more recent version of the driver (6.8.0 or newer)?
