Description Hanno Böck 2007-08-23 04:29:37 UTC
With randr-1.2 (now git-head), on my system fullscreen GL apps show just a black screen. Sound works and I can kill X with ctrl-alt-backspace.

Will attach log, card is:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10]

Does it only happen with current GIT or also with 6.7.191? Does it also happen with XAA?
Comment 3 Hanno Böck 2007-08-23 04:43:16 UTC
It's no new issue, already happened with the randr-1.2-branch about 1-2 weeks ago.

Tested both exa and xaa, no difference.

Any news on that? Makes randr-1.2 unusable for me.

Can you try the latest code from ati git?
Comment 6 Hanno Böck 2007-09-16 15:16:35 UTC
Did that, latest ati-git, latest mesa-git and latest xserver14-branch. Problem still there.
Comment 7 Alex Deucher 2007-09-16 15:26:12 UTC
can you track down whether it's a problem with the ddx or mesa (i.e., does ati-git work with old mesa or vice versa)?
Comment 8 Hanno Böck 2007-09-16 15:36:20 UTC
Already did that, it's almost certainly in the ddx. Going back to ati-6.7-branch fixes it and which mesa doesn't matter at all.
Comment 9 Hanno Böck 2007-09-23 16:39:47 UTC
is fixed in latest git.
