Description Balcaen John 2007-08-25 04:53:21 UTC
Hi,

Since the upgrade to x11-driver-video-ati-6.7.191, xorg-x11-server failed to work on my mandriva cooker with my ati X700 on an ACER laptop 1692WLMi.
It used to work with the last x11-driver-video-ati-6.6.193 with 3D acceleration
i'm using a 2.6.22 kernel,x11-server-xorg 1.3.
Reverting to x11-driver-video-ati-6.6.191 ( i didn't find the 6.6.193 rpm on mandriva mirrors) fixed the problem.
in the log the radeon driver complains about non valid modes
You'll find attached xorg log with the 6.7.191 version, xorg.conf and xorg log with 6.6.193
Let me know if i can provide more informations.

Regards,
