Description Pierre Ossman 2007-10-06 02:22:07 UTC
After upgrading to a new fancy randr 1.2 radeon driver, I get the wrong resolution in rhgb and gdm. When I log in I get the right one (gnome restores my previous settings).

The right one (panel native) is 1680x1050, and the one chosen is 1360x768. To make things worse, the panel doesn't like the mode settings chosen for 1360 as the rightmost 50 columns are basically noise.

[drzeus@poseidon]$ xrandr

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1680 x 1050, maximum 1680 x 1200
VGA-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
LVDS connected 1680x1050+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm
   1680x1050 60.7*
   1360x768 59.8 60.0
   1280x800 60.0
   1152x864 60.0
   1280x768 60.0
   1280x720 60.0
   1024x768 60.0
   800x600 60.3
   640x480 59.9
S-video disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

sorry, broken bugzilla gave the impression that it didn't actually add the bug.
