If I just disconnect and connect notebook from dock - bug does not appear.

If I disconnect notebook from dock, do xrandr --off, connect to dock, and
configure it with xrandr - bug also does not appear.
Comment 5 Vladimir B. Grebenschikov 2007-11-23 03:55:39 UTC
Can only reproduce bug if I boot with external monitor disconnected,
and then connect it.
Comment 6 Vladimir B. Grebenschikov 2007-11-23 04:10:44 UTC
docking station is irrelevant here. same problem when I just connect VGA monitor.

So to summarize:
1. Bug only appears when connecting monitor after booting (the system).
2. Bug also happens on VGA (analog) output.
Is this correct?

yes

I've tested only on VGA

3. It happens on 1280x1024 ext monitor and does not happens for me on
another bigger 1600x* wide-screen monitor.

So I assume they are all also (analog) VGA.
Have you tried a digital connector / have you tried to autoadjust function of your monitor?

yes

no

yes, nothing changed, it is not VGA signal transmition problem

Such signal is send by videocard

Please check whether this still happens with a recent driver version.

A fix to the secondary LUT has been provided by AMDs Lui Wolke, and has been included.
