Description Roland Wolters 2007-11-24 17:04:52 UTC
Overview Description:
X suddenly restarted itself, a backtrace is given in the logs.

I was watching a video via xine in KDE and wanted to call a google search. For that I fired up the run dialog with Alt+F2, entered the gg:whatever search term and when I pressed enter, X restarted.

Steps to Reproduce:
I wasn't able to reproduce the problem yet.

Build Date & Platform:
$ rpm -qa|grep xorg|grep server
xorg-x11-server-utils-7.3-1.fc8
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.3.0.0-33.fc8

Additional Information:
The platform is a x86 Linux Fedora 8, the graphic card is an ATI Radeon 9600.

The output of bt full from gdb would be useful, with radeon_drv.so having debugging symbols.
