/etc/udev/rules.d/85-tablet-drivers.rules udev rules for aiptek tablets

Hello,
I'd propose to include the following Linux udev rules for supporting the aiptek tablet. They are more or less as proposed on several sites on the net, plus they work for me here (Gentoo Linux, amd64). Please see the attachement for the rules. I already filed a bug report in Gentoo butw as asked to report the issue here first: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=210523

Greetings, Daniel

Yeesh. In 1.4 and above, you'd be far better off modifying the HAL rules file to use the Aiptek driver for these tablets, rather than relying on symlinks, which breaks with hotplug or multiple tablets.

Marking as WONTFIX. udev rules aren't really X.Org territory.

For HAL autodetection see daniel's comment.
