Created attachment 14526 [details] Here is my Xorg.log My setup is - Shuttle X100 with a Radeon X1400 - ViewSonic VP2130b monitor - Ubuntu 7.10 Only the DVI port is exposed in this particular setup so that is what I'm using. X does not start and claims not to detect the attached monitor. The proprietary driver works fine.

Created attachment 14528 [details] My Xorg.log with HPD swap enabled Tried it also with HPD swap - no change
Could you please try with Option "HPD" "Off" instead of "SWAP"? Reassigning to reporter.
Thank you. That fixed it. I guess my card has somewhat exotic connector tables. I'm happy to provide any additional information if required.
Did you test both analog and digital output (DVI and DVI2VGA adapter)? Also, please don't close bugs, they should only be closed when the bug (missing quirk information) is actually fixed.

Yes I did. Same behavior. Worked when I set HPD "Off". I also attached the conntest output using the adapter.
I've got a patch to supply the necessary connector table information in my queue. I'll add it ASAP.
Fixed pushed: 1b3f3c9c56fb4f70d49f4b123f1e2b1feb6ec3cd. Problem should be resolved. Please update your driver, remove option line and test. I'm closing this for now. If it doesn't work please reopen.
