I am experiencing some problems when trying to draw text with a linear gradient source. My real code is using pango but a simple test case using the toy API also shows the problem, will attach one.

The bug could also be in the atsui font backend, I suppose.

This happens with both 1.4.x and 1.5.x.

Thanks for the testcase!  I just checked in a fix for this, commit id b52f127c12fd7ee2b4f532954cb1e9e4eb8561b4 .
