Currently, using Okular 4.0.2 and libpoppler 0.6.4, this document is not properly rendered:
    http://www.apuebook.com/lostchapter/modem.pdf

Adobe Reader issues this warning:
    Cannot extract the embedded font 'NDLKNF+Palatino-Roman'.
    Some characters may not display or print correctly.
but it actually manages to show the document nicely.

This kind of bugs are because freetype can't handle the font we pass, i've contacted freetype developers.

Werner LEMBERG said "the font is buggy; it is one byte too short thus the private dictionary can't be loaded."
