Description Xavier Claessens 2008-03-17 10:29:56 UTC
When I call GetPresence on muc contacts I always get "offline" as reply using gabble and empathy. Bug #14954 may be related.

My branch fixs the bug:

Comment 2 Simon McVittie 2008-04-30 08:03:59 UTC
Fixed in Darcs
Comment 3 Xavier Claessens 2008-05-03 09:32:18 UTC
It's still broken with gabble 0.7.4, is that release supposed to fix this bug?
Comment 4 Xavier Claessens 2008-05-03 09:38:17 UTC
reopening
Comment 5 Alban Crequy 2008-05-05 02:22:44 UTC
The fix is there:
http://darcs.collabora.co.uk/darcsweb.cgi?r=telepathy/telepathy-gabble;a=commitdiff;h=20080425163618-a41c0-1f7775a39c9344f03098f856afe67c9ead5dcdef.gz

According to smcv's mail, the fix should be in the release:

>The "stop making coredumps, I want to go to the pub" release.

But when I download the tarball from the above URL, the fix is not inside.

Is the release broken?
Comment 6 Simon McVittie 2008-05-05 03:18:11 UTC
The patch was indeed missing from the tarball. It'll be in 0.7.5 later today.
