When I use Firefox 3.0rc1 to view the URL http://pixdaus.com/single.php?id=47166 it starts rendering the page and then the whole of X freezes. X freezes so bad, in fact, that not even Ctrl-Alt-Backspace helps. This is using: X.Org X Server 1.4.0 and the xf86-video-ati driver from GIT as of right now.
Works fine here with xserver Git, so let's assume this was an EXA bug which has been fixed in the meantime. Please try a newer xserver, preferably the Git master branch but at least the 1.4 branch.
Hmm, actually it's unknown you're really using EXA... if that's not the problem, please attach the full xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log and reopen.

I am now running xserver from GIT as of today, and also the radeon driver from GIT as of today. The "big image" freeze as indeed gone away, but now my whole system freezes when I play an AVI file with mplayer (using Xv) and go full-screen. Again, system freezes up. Mouse still moves, but movement looks choppy. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace do nothing. Any ideas what this could be?
