Created attachment 16881 [details] ZIP Package with two 640x480 pictures, taken with a SONY Cyber-shot DSC-W55. I have a color problem after installing the latest version of 'radeonhd' driver. This shows an apparent excess of brightness, this had never happened, so I had to install the 'VESA' driver and the image is better, but with little resolution. Earlier versions did not have this problem. My monitor is a 'Samsung SyncMaster 940NW' and my system is a 'Opensuse 10.3 x64'. I Attach two photos, with the difference between the faulty driver and the VESA driver.
My graphics adapter is a ATI Radeon X1550.
Does this happen when you use an analog VGA display? Can you provide a log file?
Created attachment 17783 [details] Xorg log file I'm also affected by this bug. Using an ATI Mobility X1400 on Dell inspiron 6400. The gamma is wrong only on the external monitor, attached on an analog VGA port.
Thanks for the report! From the reports I gather that this seems to be the same issue as bug #16400. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 16400 ***
