Description Tom Parker 2008-06-26 10:29:27 UTC
The mentioned URL repeatedly causes Firefox 3.0 (stock version downloaded direct for mozilla) with swfdec(-mozilla) 0.7.2 to crash while trying to display the YouTube video stored within. You don't even need to click on the grey "show this flash" image, just wait for the page to load. Attempts on downloading the swf and running it through swfplay haven't managed to either play it or crash it, and running firefox with "-g -d gdb" doesn't seem to get a sane stacktrace either.

Suggestions on things I can do to help debug this?

Additionally, removing the swfdec .so from the mozilla plugins folder causes the page to load fine (no video, but that's to be expected).

This bug is why I put the "can cause problems with Mozilla-based browsers." line in the release announcement. You're the first one to file it. :)
