xorg.conf with zaphod mode

If I enable zaphod mode on my Radeon HD 2400 XT with 6.9.0, I get a crash in the radeon driver. If I run it in normal cloned mode, it works with no crash (but isn't very useful). Attached are xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log.

you'll need to upgrade your xserver. 1.3.0 had bug in the xrandr code that breaks zaphod.

Unless you really need zaphod mode why not just use xrandr? While clone is the default you can switch to dualhead on the fly or set it up statically in your config:

xrandr is not an option. I need the ability to have separate virtual desktops on each monitor.

I'll try with a newer xserver and see how it works.

Okay, after updating my xserver, it no longer crashes. It still doesn't work (one of the screens shows a *really* low rez, like 640x480 or so, even though it claims it's running at 1600x1200), but it no longer crashes. Sorry for the noise.
