The TextureFromPixmap screenshots look like bug 16123 (btw, somebody should check whether that's still fixed with current drm Git as well as mesa Git). Not sure what's up with the fallback methods, but they aren't really interesting anyway if texture from pixmap works.
I've added a regression test for Bug 16123 (i.e. off-by-one in cliprect handling) to Piglit, so the bug should still be fixed in latest Mesa+DRM git. And yes, at least some of those screenshots look a lot like Bug 16123, so that may be fixed already. However, the crash and the completely garbled windows look unfamiliar to me. I'm not sure what's going on there.
Mesa 7.0.4 definately helped, but it still doesn't work. Lots of weird artifacts like in the screenshots when first enabled, still.. Restarting KDE with it enabled helped a little, but seemingly random windows continue to be undrawn (though their shadows always work). Panels are *only* shadows when this happens, and actual windows simply have no content visible.
Reassigning to r300 dri driver
If you're still using XAA, does it also happen with EXA or with Option "XaaNoOffscreenPixmaps"?
Can you reproduce it with newest mesa and xf86-video-ati?
Closing due to lack of user feedback.
