Description Matti Aarnio 2008-08-17 04:15:50 UTC
Both the radeon (ati) and radeonhd drivers detect my display panel
repeatedly during startup. Observe the log files.

The files are on bug 17174.
This is secondary "bug" for tagging.

The log clearly shows that this probing is done after the Xserver has come up completely. So Alex' answer on #17174 applies here also: it is some client that requests this reprobing. This is the expected behavior.
Apart from the log messages it should do no harm. However we do like to keep the log messages to be able to trace issues better.
