My xorg.conf and xorg log

I am currently using the opensource radeon driver, version 1:6.8.0-1, official package of ubuntu 8.04.1 and a known bug (in f-spot community) using f-spot appears: when using slideshows, the color around picture to fullfill the screen is blue, perfect blue, instead of black

An example to illustrate the problem at this URL : http://p.guepe.free.fr/radeon_fspot_bug_blue.png

I am not using any compositing manager.

lspci -nn | grep VGA
> 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc M10 NT [FireGL Mobility T2] [1002:4e54] (rev 80)

I will try with builds found at repository : https://edge.launchpad.net/~tormodvolden/+archive

By the way, this bug is at least as old as Ubuntu Dapper 7.04 (so older than april 2007).

Does EXA help?
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
in the device section of your config?

I installed the latest radeon package (following tutorial linked by its author from IRC channel : http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9951 )
I tried with and without EXA acceleration : both provides the "good" behaviour : a black color around pictures !!!

So, bug has been corrected in the new driver :-)
Big thanks to oibaf.
