Description Chris Rankin 2008-09-21 14:17:24 UTC
Run the xscreensaver (5.07) hack as:

/usr/libexec/xscreensaver/gflux -mode grab -fps

I get 12 fps, 77% load, 460 polygons with my Radeon 9550. Compare this to my Matrox G400 MAX which gives me 20 fps, 60% load, 460 polygons.

vblank_mode=0 /usr/lib/xscreensaver/gflux -mode grab -fps -delay 0

gives me about 100 fps on a mobile RV350. Was this really using the r300 driver, not swrast?

Actually, I think this was because the r300_dri.so was broken, leaving me with swrast instead. With the latest Mesa-git I am getting 30 fps with 40% load.

Mass version move, cvs -> git
