I have attached the Xorg log file. I'm on a debian Lenny installed in september 2008. I downloaded the git radeonhd and used this one. When I do a git log the last commit is f29a3d2f6bb4c7140cfe4021ad3b0b1111dcf0f4 Stock flgrx (debian packaged) fails with a BIOS read error. Thanks for any help. - Benjamin.

Same issue as in bug #18310. You may want to try a later (1.5.) xserver which comes with an entirely new PCI subsystem. There is not much that can be done from the driver side.
