Description jameson quinn 2009-01-16 14:44:59 UTC
My 9100m G card works fine when I add the line:

  { 0x10DE0844, "GeForce 9100M G" },

to the end of the list in nv_driver.c
Comment 1 Stephane Marchesin 2009-01-16 15:20:42 UTC
There is no pciid list in nouveau. Did you actually try nouveau ?
Comment 2 jameson quinn 2009-01-26 12:16:20 UTC
ummm... I guess not. I was using nv, I thought that that was the same as nouveau. Given that it isn't, where should I file this bug?
Comment 3 Ben Skeggs 2009-01-26 14:18:44 UTC
Reassigning bug to Aaron Plattner from NVIDIA, who maintains xf86-video-nv.

On the nouveau side of things though, we'll be able to support the chipset if you provide us with a trace of how the binary driver configures the card. The instructions for doing so are at: http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/MmioTraceHowto

Ben.
Comment 4 Aaron Plattner 2010-03-08 16:23:33 UTC
Please try version 2.1.17.
Comment 5 Corbin Simpson 2012-01-22 12:30:48 UTC
Nobody is supporting xf86-video-nv and it will be going away at some point in the future. If your problem persists with nouveau or the proprietary driver provided by nVidia, please re-file accordingly. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This is part of an automated bulk action; if you believe that this bug was closed in error, then change the targeted component and reopen it.
