FWIW, the log says: exaCopyDirty: Pending damage region empty!
Comment 2 Alex Deucher 2009-03-04 13:58:18 UTC
Do any of these options help?

Option "ExaNoDownloadFromScreen"
Option "ExaNoUploadToScreen"
Option "ExaOptimizeMigration" "off"

Hi! i'm the one who reported this bug to tormod volden in launchpad.. i'll be glad to give you an hand! I'm studying Computer Science then i'm not a newbie, but unfortunatley i'm not so skilled in coding.. eheh

I've tried the options above and none of them fix the problem..
i'll stay tuned,
bye, alex

That message is usually harmless and has been quietened in xserver Git.

It would be nice if this kind of basic triage was done *before* forwarding reports here... Did you verify in Xorg.0.log that the options were honoured as intended?

you might also want to try a different version of flash. Some versions are flakier than others.
Comment 6 Tormod Volden 2009-03-05 14:22:34 UTC
Can we blame flaky flash if the reporter noted "with XAA is perfect." ?

Does xf86-video-ati git master work any better?
Comment 9 Alex Deucher 2009-05-04 10:16:07 UTC
I can't reproduce any of these problems with flashplayer 10 and ati git master.
Comment 10 Alessandro 2009-09-03 02:18:53 UTC
Hi guys, i found that this bug is not related to the driver, but i think it could be something related to xulrunner of firefox, because i just installed Opera 10 and it works perfectly with youtube.

bye, Alex
