Using latest git, I get green lines and dots flickering on my screen. Some areas flicker more prominently, I guess depending on the background color. Monitor is a Philips 200WS connected via DVI. Vesa and fglrx don't exhibit this problem. Attached xorg log, dmesg, and a "screenshot" of the problem

can you try with ati from git master?  Specifically commit 66b194a78c470cb3978f310828dd96c3f3e96944.
