Description Jared 2009-05-19 13:39:05 UTC
when printing a pdf with a width greater than the length, although displayed normally, the document is automaticly printed sideways. This can be verified by using the print preview button. User should be able to disable this funcionality. Adobes alternative has a checkbox in the print window entitled "Auto rotate and center". I beleive this does more or less the same thing.
Please let me know if you need more info or details.

poppler doesn't have a print preview button because it's not a graphical program.

if evince is the program you are using yes. They are probably going to need something from the poppler project, but as a wish, this basically qualifies as an evince wish i'd say.

This is a problem with evince, not poppler. I've posted it there. Thanks Albert Astals Cid.
