Description Mann 2009-06-10 06:35:45 UTC
I am using the xpdf library but unable to render the PDF.
When library reads the pdf. It gives continuous error messages.

like:

Error(XXXXXX):Unknown compression method in flate stream
Error(XXXXXX):Unknown compression method in flate stream
Error(XXXXXX):Bad FCHECK in flate stream
Error(XXXXXX):Unknown compression method in flate stream
Error(XXXXXX):Unknown compression method in flate stream
Error(XXXXXX):Unknown compression method in flate stream

In another case :
For another pdf file

Error(XXXXXX):Badly formatted number
Error(XXXXXX):Badly formatted number
Error(XXXXXX):Badly formatted number
Error(XXXXXX):Badly formatted number

How to deal with those error messages.

poppler is not the xpdf library, if you are using the xpdf library you probably got a support contract for Derek Nooburg and you should be mailing him and not us.

If you are using poppler then you are not using the xpdf library and this is the right place.

Anyways this just means that the pdf are broken or that your compilation of poppler is broken.

If Adobe Reader can open the pdf please attach them to this bug report so we can have a look at them.
