Xorg log

Kernel:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily/2009-06-20/

Driver:
xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.12.99+git20090611.808c90a2-0ubuntu0sarvatt~jaunty

EXA and Xv working fine. Only issue I've found is that the cursor is partially corrupted. It seems to be divided in 4 sections and the bottom left and top right section is corrupted.
Comment 1 Ernst Sjöstrand 2009-06-21 03:22:57 UTC
SWCursor on or off doesn't matter, looks the same anyway. Xorg-log says it using the right thing with the respective settings.
Comment 2 Ernst Sjöstrand 2009-06-21 03:27:17 UTC
Setting DRI to off solves the problem so I guess it's EXA related?
Comment 3 Ernst Sjöstrand 2009-06-22 12:20:57 UTC
Happens with latest git master xf86-video-ati also.
Comment 4 Alex Deucher 2009-06-28 09:47:07 UTC
It's DFS related. Disable EXA DFS:
Option "EXANoDownloadFromScreen"
