Description Carlos Martín Nieto 2009-07-03 10:07:52 UTC
Hello,

 I've just sent the MMIO trace of X starting up on my NVac (9400M) to the gmail address. I tried adding the voodoo in myself, but there is either something missing or extra, because my GPU locked up, and I'm really out of practice with nouveau.

drm.debug=1 and nouveau.modeset=1

Sorry, too fast, modprobe nouveau modeset=1 still results in a GPU lockup.
Comment 3 Ben Skeggs 2009-07-05 13:27:01 UTC
A GPU lockup, or a blank screen? If it's the latter, it's nothing to do with the context stuff.

Debug dmesg

Blank screen was fixed in nouveau_bios.c but I still get a lockup after executing clock script 0

The voodoo is in, my card works (it was a long time ago, but nobody has mentioned anything)
