Your X server is still configured to use fglrx.

That would be easiest. In any case, you're not actually running radeonhd at this point. Make sure fglrx isn't loaded at boot time, and make sure Driver is set to "radeonhd" in xorg.conf.

The log you posted clearly shows fglrx being used. Having the modules loaded doesn't imply that they are being used. Remove fglrx from your system. If you're running xorg.conf-less set up, then the server should default to using "radeon". You need to explicitly select radeonhd in xorg.conf to use it.
