When I enable KMS on my notebook and switch to a dual-head mode the first time, there is no mouse pointer on the second (external) display. It is still possible to control items on the second head using the mouse - the mouse pointer is just invisible.

Interestingly this problem disappears, if I switch back to a single-head mode and switch again to the dual-head mode. After that, the cursor appears on the second head.

ATI Radeon Mobility x1400
Version: 1:6.12.99+git20091022.e57b54da-0ubuntu0tormod

The error also exists within older versions.

You need a newer kernel. 2.6.32 or drm-next.
