creates libpoppler-cairo.so and install it.

There is poppler-cairo package as poppler-cairo.pc but it doesn't provide CairoOutputDev. So we need to use poppler-glib to use CairoOutputDev.

Carlos?
Comment 2 Carlos Garcia Campos 2009-11-08 07:34:07 UTC
There's also poppler-splash package and there isn't poppler-splash.so either.
Comment 3 Albert Astals Cid 2009-11-08 12:05:14 UTC
Ah, didn't realize what the reporter was asking. He wants to use poppler internals, right? Well, that's unsupported sorry.
Comment 4 Kouhei Sutou 2009-11-08 16:16:57 UTC
Does it mean that CairoOutputDev is internal API?

If we want to use cairo-poppler integration, we should use popper-glib instead of poppler. Is it right?
Comment 5 Albert Astals Cid 2009-11-09 13:09:42 UTC
Yes, CairoOutputDev is internal API, if you want to use it you can either use poppler-glib or wait for the mythical toolkit agnostic frontend for poppler (though that'll probably never happen due to people free time, so if you want to help i'm sure you're more than able to work on it)
