dmesg

OS: Kubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala
Kernel: 2.6.31-16-generic (amd64)
GPU: Radeon X1950XTX
Monitor: Dell 3007WFP-HC
Setup: 2560x1600@60Hz (automatically through monitor supplied timings)

Switching terminals through CTRL+ALT+Fn does work fine except that switching to text terminals result in the monitor going into standby (so there is no signal or a signal that is not understood by the monitor).

As I had a similar setup elsewhere (HD2400PRO + 3007WFP-HC) I know that it works somehow. Switching back to my desktop works as expected.
