Radial gradients in PDFs created by Inkscape are rendered incorrectly (as plain color) by poppler-based PDF-viewers. I tested evince and okular, both display the same wrong behavior.

See the files in the attached zip: the PDF contains two rectangles, the one with the linear gradient fill displays correctly, but the other one with the radial gradient fill does not, it displays as a completely black rectangle.

My system is Ubuntu 9.10 (64-bit), and the version numbers of the relevant packages are:

okular 4:4.3.2-0ubuntu1
evince 2.28.1-0ubuntu1.2
libpoppler5 0.12.0-0ubuntu2.1

If you tested Okular why did you assign to the Cairo output device?

Anyway, this is fixed already in latest 0.12.x release, update to it.
