Current implementation of Google Mail Notification provides simple URL without authentication token. The result is that if you have not previously login to the webmail interface, you will have to enter your password first.

By testing Win32 Google client, I observed that opening link never require to authenticate.It would be nice to implement the same thing in Gabble. Note that the task is a bit difficult due to the fact the communication is encrypted and the method undocumented.
