Description Peter Hutterer 2010-04-15 21:00:47 UTC
After _a lot_ of server generations:

[config/hal] couldn't add match rule: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.LimitsExceeded (Connection ":1.34" is not allowed to add more match rules (increase limits in configuration file if required))
[config/hal] cannot detect a HAL startup.

dbus_bus_remove_match might be a good idea.

4 years of inactivity and HAL is now used only on non-Linux systems or older systems. This is unlikely to get fixed, be my guest if you want to take it up though.
