Currently polkit depends on ConsoleKit to figure out how is at the console/active seat and so on. Since ConsoleKit is deprecated we should have polkit using logind directly and allow me to get rid of one more daemon from my system :-)
Yup. We'd want to keep the CK code for a while (and ensure it's working) since not everyone is using systemd just yet.

David, Lennart already ACK'ed the patch at the other bug. What's blocking it's inclusion and possibly a new release with it? Want to remove CK from my system and so far PK is the only hard user.

Will review it and commit it next week when I'm back at work. Then I'll do a release.
