GTK+ theme is not applied in VMWare 5.5.1 with GTK+ 2.8.8 and GTK+ 2.8.9.
Reported error upon VMware launch:


/opt/vmware/workstation/lib/bin/vmware:
/opt/vmware/workstation/lib/lib/libgcc_s.so.1/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_3.4'
not found (required by /usr/lib/libcairo.so.2)

This problem is due to differences in compilation environment and running environment (incompatible libgcc versions), it is not a bug in Cairo.

Hence, resolving as NOTABUG.
