I have this pdf-file (I can't share it openly but will send it per pM or email) that has broken bookmarks. AFAICS, link targets that Poppler chokes on look like this: /Dest[8438 0 R/FitH]

But as per §8.2.1 of PDF Reference 1.7, an /FitH requires a parameter, which are missing in the file. Poppler based viewers do not display these bookmarks whereas other ones (I tried Acrobat and Foxit) handle these flawlessly.

Hence my request to make poppler better at error recovery.

Addendum: I made one mistake: The bookmarks are being displayed but the destination jump fails.

Without a file there's no bug, send it over or use some tools to recreate a new one that has the same problem.
